Product Description
Hydro Primer has excellent adhesion to smooth surfaces such as PVC, Galvanized steel, Aluminum and asbestos roofs.
Product Uses
Hydro Primer serves as a priming layer above PVC, Galvanized steel, Aluminum and asbestos roofs that are about to be coated with Flexlock membrane.

Instruction for use
Surface preparation
All surfaces to which Hydro Primer is applied must be sound, stable with an even finish and free from dirt, dust, loose debris, grease etc.
Primer preparation
Dilute Hydro Primer at a ratio of 1:1 with water.
Primer application
Hydro Primer may be applied by using a brush, roller or airless spray. Recommended quantity is 100-300 gr/m2 according to surface properties. During application care should be taken to avoid excess material which can be recognize as a glossy layer over the surface.
» Let dry for 2-24 hours, depending on ambient conditions.
Equipment care
Tools can be cleaned with water immediately after usage.
Packaging
Hydro Primer is available in 18kg cans.
Storage
- Store under cover out of direct sunlight and protect from extremes of temperature.
- Avoid frizzing temperatures.
- In tropical climates the product must be stored in an air-conditioned environment
- Shelf life is up to 12 months when stored as above.
Technical and application notes:
- We recommend covering the primer within two days after application, in order to prevent dust accumulation.
- The primer is not flammable and free of organic solvents.
